The survey takes 20 to 45 minutes depending on roof size and access. You receive a written fixed-price quote the same day or the following morning.

We do not use pressure tactics, we do not offer discounts for booking on the day, and we do not manufacture urgency. If a job can wait a week safely we will tell you. If it needs addressing quickly we will tell you that too — along with the specific reason why.

Payment is never requested upfront for repair jobs. For larger replacement work, a deposit of 10 to 25 percent covers materials, with the balance due on satisfactory completion. We accept bank transfer and card. We do not operate as a cash-only business.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are fixed before work starts. For repair jobs under £500, payment is due on completion. For larger jobs — re-roofs, full guttering replacements, chimney rebuilds — a deposit of 10 to 25 percent covers materials, with the balance on satisfactory completion. We never ask for full payment upfront on any job. We accept bank transfer and card. Full VAT receipts are issued at completion on all work.

Any contractor requiring full cash payment upfront, offering large on-the-spot discounts, or approaching you unsolicited at your door should be treated with caution.
